i’ve clocked over 300 hours on this game as of february 2019, at some point i’ll have to find/add all greek songs in this game and have them properly translated. incredible game. like travelling to ancient greece.

If only the optimization would ve been better . the game itself it is a nie concept nice locations .. explorin always nice in ass cr games but optimisation on this last title was so poor ..Need like high end cards to run this smooth ..

i have a HP 8100 minitower server, thats an older quadcore rig, only 8GB ram and a geforce 660ti graphics card the game ran great apart from 2 or 3 locations where i always had lag. like mykonos, athens and piraios.. other than that it was great. i play on low settings tho and have enough headroom. the last game, origins, had more lag spots, especially bad was crocodilopolis which i renamed lag-city. in odyssey, lag-city is athens LOL.

when you have lag, fighting becomes impossible, you miss your headshots and can’t parry or dodge, and get slaughtered. so after a while i got tired of fighting enemies in laggy areas and instead lure them away before slaying them. hehe.

Haaa :)) Nice strategy ! I have a i5 6400 with an strix gtx950 and trust me the game is really bad optimised .. not that my gpu would be some kind of monster or something .. but on lots of gameplays with high end gpu’s it just stays before the mark of 60fps.. :)) but yeah and on what details you on , it depends also .. i think you on low with that gpu but is cool too at least you can experience it ..
I stay with it on a high custom graphic preset with some settings turned to medium like shadows fog sky quality .. and with an Oc of +107 on the gpu core clock and only 70 stable on teh memory clock i stay around the mark of 45 fps-50 in non fightin areas and around 37 to 42 in fighting but without that oc profile the game wasn t playable idk how but for me doin that oc gave me almost 10 fps on the lows and that maked the game playable .. (on those settings i setted )

And yes fighting do become hard with lag , i also have a funnny strategy with those high tier enemys i lure them on some hights alone than use the sparta kik gettin rid of them without alertin others :)) , than return and have my ways with the rest :)) in silent and peace

i play most games at low or mid settings its more than enough for me. don’t like it too crisp it looks un-natural.. was born early 80s so watching tv back then you only had 640×480 that was the max and it worked too.. if the framerate in a game drops too bad its no longer fun so it should have a certain minimum. i had it on 1600×900 windowed borderless. it ran with aroudn 30fps which is enough for me. if it stays constant.. the only complaint i have, sometimes you would saddle up and the horse would just be sooooo slooooow, for like half a minute, then it sped up all of a sudden. haven’t figured why if its my settings or the RAM or just the game in general. anyway that sucked but apart frmo that it ran great.. i could experience ancient greece in all its glory. what else can you ask for.
