Wow. THis looks soooooo good except the sword animation, I think Geralt moves a little too much, or maybe too fast, or maybe just too outward. just barely enough to make me think “What’s wrong with his hands?”

I tried to install this E3 Ui and Hud mod like 100 times I tried everything there is and this damn thing still doesn’t work.

It looks strange because it’s not actually how Geralt holds his sword in the VGX trailer. The mod actually simulates Geralt walking through shallow water all the time, that’s why it looks odd.

It does look kinda weird, but its historically accurate. Also, Geralt is described holding his sword in this fashion in the books. Even so, I like the vanilla better.

Half-naruto running, lol. I mean, just imagine yourself walking/running while holding a sword. There’s no way you would have it swaying back like that. But if someone thinks it looks cool, ok I guess. The UI looks great though.

To add to the silver sword thing, in the books, silver is only really useful against very specific monsters, like werewolves, vampires and wraiths. Against pretty much anything else, you’d rather use a steel sword due to material qualities.

Oh! That’s true. They even did that in the “killing Monsters” trailer, but it would’ve been clumsy in the games to have the swords by the horse of course.

Mono Flax If we want to be 100% accurate they carry one sword one their back. Monsters are rare in the book so Geralt leaves his silver sword behind on roach.

I dont think the stance is specified in the books. (And witchers do carry their swords on the back in the books. No one was talking about realism xP)

It is in some instances. With mods sometimes his hair can look way to white, or take on a purple tinge in some areas. However, vanilla will sometimes turn geralts hair yellow in certain lighting. Vanilla or a lighting mod, whichever is chosen all have a lot of inconsistency in the lighting and how good that lighting looks. I was just using WLM in velen and it looked great, but when i went into novigrad, it turned geralts hair blinding white with a purplely tinge to it.
